TRANS-PAYSAGE (TRANS-LANDSCAPE), Galerie Peirce, Paris
This solo exhibition deals with transformations and translatory movements in the environment. Isabelle Bonzom ponders construction sites, urban views, industrial or agricultural landscapes, spaces fashioned by the human being and travelled by him or her. She takes particular interest in the presence of the tree in the urban context (urban forest) and the links between the human being and his/her environment. Featuring more than 30 works, the Trans-Paysage exhibit traces a pictorial journey that the artist has developed on those iconographic themes.

LOVE EXPLOSION, Galerie d'Est et d'Ouest, Paris
An exhibition of 20 recent paintings. Networks of pictorial layers, vivid chromatic relations, overflows of fluids, and gushes. Scenes of rapprochement between human beings in urban forests or more intimate places. Lectures by Baldine Saint Girons, Pierre Sterckx, Paola Cocchi and Eurydice Trichon-Milsani were given to the public about this exhibition. Read and see more here

three dozen paintings created by Isabelle Bonzom between 1998 and 2007: construction sites, subway train stations, urban views, urban forests, gardens, as spaces for action, exchange, rest and reverie.

Works by Isabelle are held by public museums and collections, private collectors and corporations in France, Belgium, Germany, England, Costa Rica, Mexico, South Africa, Japan, South Korea and in the United States.

The Musée de Saint-Maur and the Musée des Traditions de l’Ile, Noirmoutier Island, and the City of Les Herbiers own paintings by Isabelle Bonzom.

Isabelle Bonzom’s artwork has been selected by the UNESCO Editions to be featured in their 2008 catalogue of contemporary painting.
